ASSURE Model: Identifying shapes

ASSURE lesson plan shows the leadership of the individual teacher. The standard 2: Leadership is a perfect place to embark on showing my ASSURE lesson plan. A teacher has to be able to make a lesson plan that allows for student growth and learning through multiple ways so each student can get their full educational experience. Creating and ASSURE model ha allowed me to think in ways that I wouldn't have before. I thought of ways to involve technology but also involve different learning techniques so that each child can grow in the best way for them. You have to be able to see where the students are withe their starting knowledge and see what they have learned by the end of the activity. Teachers should be able to evaluate and measures their students success so that they can adjust and improve their teaching and learning styles. Evaluation is  big part of being a leader because then you can see where you can improve so you can benefit your students. Being able to adapt and change for the benefit of the students you are teaching is a challenging but important part of being a leader.
